Para crecer sanos, los niños necesitan sentarse menos y jugar más.

Según las nuevas directrices de la Organización Mundial de la Salud sobre actividad física, comportamiento sedentario y sueño para niños menores de 5 años:

Los niños menores de 5 años deben pasar menos tiempo sentados mirando pantallas; o restringidos sus movimientos en cochecitos, asientos o sofás; y necesitan dormir más y mejor, y tener más tiempo para jugar activamente si quieren crecer sanos.

HAY QUE COMER MÁS ARROZ = INTERNATIONAL STUDY SUGGESTS THAT EATING MORE RICE COULD BE PROTECTIVE AGAINST OBESITY

«Obesity levels are substantially lower in countries that consume high amounts of rice (average: 150 g/day/person), while countries with lower average rice intake (14 g/day/person) have higher obesity levels, according to an international study of 136 countries, being presented at this year's European Congress on Obesity, in Glasgow, UK, 28 April-1 May.

The link between rice intake and obesity persisted even after taking into account other lifestyle and socioeconomic risk factors including total energy consumption, education, smoking, gross domestic product per capita, and health expenditure.» [Read it all] / [En castellano]
